Most teams are operational within a day. Create an account, import inventory from a spreadsheet, invite your staff, and start sending invoices. Premium and Enterprise customers get an assisted onboarding session where we set up locations, categories, and your first batch of clients with you.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Stowley runs in the browser on any modern device — desktop, tablet, or phone. Your warehouse staff can scan QR codes from a phone camera without a separate app.

Yes — launch the sandbox right now (no signup required) to explore the full app pre-loaded with sample data. The sandbox resets periodically so you can break things freely.

Can I change plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from Account Settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and the difference is pro-rated on your next invoice. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period; we don't issue credits or refunds for the unused portion of the higher plan.

What happens if I exceed a plan limit?

We'll flag it in-app and prompt you to upgrade. We never silently delete data or block your team from completing work in progress.

How does billing work?

Subscriptions are charged in advance for the billing period you choose (monthly or annual) and auto-renew until you cancel. By signing up you commit to the full period — canceling stops future renewals but doesn't end the current term early.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes — annual billing saves roughly 20% versus monthly across every tier. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year and are non-refundable; you can switch to monthly at renewal.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Basic, Advanced, and Premium are pure subscription pricing. Enterprise customers pay a one-time onboarding fee that's quoted with the contract.

What's your refund policy?

All fees are non-refundable, including unused time on monthly or annual plans, partial periods after cancellation, downgrades, and account suspension or termination. We don't refund for the unused portion of a billing cycle. The sandbox lets you try the full app before signing up — please use it. We'll always honor refunds where required by applicable law.

Can I import from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Bulk import accepts CSV with item name, category, location, photos, condition notes, and insured value. We'll map your columns to ours and preview before committing.

Who owns my data?

You do. You can export your inventory, clients, invoices, and audit log to CSV any time. If you ever cancel, you keep an export — we don't hold data hostage.

Yes — import contacts via CSV or paste from a spreadsheet. Each client gets their own private portal account automatically.

Every organization's data is isolated at the database layer with row-level security policies. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. See the security page for details.

Can I control what my staff can see?

Yes — role-based permissions let you scope access by team member. Drivers see only the service requests assigned to them; managers see everything.

Advanced and above include audit logging for every change to inventory, invoices, and client records — who, what, when. Premium retains full history; lower tiers retain rolling 7 or 30 days.

How do payments work?

We connect to Stripe via Stripe Connect. Your clients pay invoices by card or ACH directly from their portal; payouts hit your Stripe account on Stripe's normal schedule.

Do you integrate with ShipStation?

Yes. Connect your ShipStation v2 API key on Account Settings → Integrations and shipping service requests get live multi-carrier rate-shop, one-click label purchase, and automatic tracking-number capture. The label PDF attaches to the request, parcel presets save package dimensions, and the carrier list pulls from your ShipStation account.

We export invoices, payments, and client data as accounting-friendly CSV that imports cleanly into QuickBooks, Xero, and most ERPs. Direct API integrations are on the roadmap.

Yes — the team schedule publishes a private iCal feed you can subscribe to from Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar.
